I am Deirdre Miller, a 22 year old artist living in Winter Park, Florida. My name is of Irish origin and translates to sorrowful wanderer - and that meaning can somewhat be illustrated throughout my pieces. I've always found myself getting lost. In a book, in a sketchbook, in life... I tend to get immersed in the worlds of my paintings, and I use my original character, The Girl in Red  to illustrate moving through that creative flow. I don't necessarily consider being a wanderer as a sorrowful thing. You meet many good people, places, and things along the way, and you carry a piece of them with you always.
